Here Today asked:

When I run it. The other day a hose came loose and I lost a lot of water out of the pool and it was running dry for some time. Immediately afterward it didn’t make this sound but now it does whenever it is on. Does it need lubing or is it damaged or some kind of other maintenance?? It still runs the filter.

For while it may just be lubed in the clear plastic lid is nothing to get better eventually the motor itself is nothing to get better it generates lot of the pump housing or warp some of the seal look for leaks around the clear plastic parts of heat and will destroy the moving parts in.
