Hayward
Troy B asked:

I have a Hayward inground pool pump. THis season the impeller was locked up (rusted) so I fixed it. Now when I turn pump on it vibrates and shakes so bad it kicks breaker off. What causes a pump to vibrate and shake like this? I am at a loss and can’t afford a new pump.

An imbalance or bearing has gone you will need to take it apart and check the bearings these can easily be replaced by anyone with basic mechanical knowledge regards dave.
