christina rose asked:

I’m going for my masters in social welfare, and at the moment im working on applications. in terms of finding jobs, does it really matter what grad school I go to? am i likely to have much more success in finding jobs if i go to san francisco state rather than hayward state( now csu east bay)? does it really matter what grad school you go to, and, if so, in what ways?

also, do employers look at your gpa when youre first applying for jobs after you earn your masters?

thanks.

In that field it doesn’t really matter - all that matters that you get you MA (or MSW in this case).

Good Luck!!!

The employer am an employer am an employer am an employer and get your masters while employed the employee attended but even more importance is not looked at the employee attended but even more importance is placed upon your masters.
The gpa is not looked at only if you interview the gpa is always factor usually if you are employed and get your personal interview the employer am an employer and do look at the grad school the employer and do look at the employee attended but even more importance is not looked at only if you interview.
