Family vacation in May on Big Bass Lake in Minong, which is near Hayward (Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame). What do you normally fish for and what is the best lures/live baits to use? Any good spots accessible by boat? Any other info muh appreciated.

i know that there are alot of big fish in minong. i live bout 50 miles south of that and i have a friend who has a cabin up there. he says that there are alot of big fish and there is alot of northern and bass. go to a place near lilly pads and use a rubber frog. hope it helped
