Hayward
Runi R asked:

I think the builder used a pump that is too small. I have pump and filter, a Hayward diatomaceous pump and filter, but it is not working very well.

Please supply a little more information. How many gallons in the pool? I can’t calculate it with the measurements you gave unless the pool is 7 feet deep all over. Are there any other water features such as spas or fountains? How many pool returns are there?
Most municipalities require the builder to furnish filter/turnover information before they will issue a building permit. All this info might be on your copy of the plans. Have a look.
Next, when you say not working very well what specifically are you referring to? How long are you running the pump per day? Please add a few details and I’ll help you. Contact me direct if you like.
