I just bought a HAYWARD SP2605X7 Super Pump 3/4HP pool pump. It can be used on either a 115vac or 230vac line and the one I am replacing was previously using 115vac.

Now the pump comes pre-configured for 230vac and a sticker on the side says “to use 115vac, see maintenance manual for electrical configuration.”

The problem is i cannot find this maintenance manual anywhere online. i need the electrical configuration so i can wire this pump to work with the existing 115vac line.

Can anyone help?

I’m being offered a Hayward pool heater Model#: H1001D but I can’t find it for sale on the internet… I wonder if it will even work for my in-ground pool. It’s the middle of winter and the pool stores are closed. Can anyone Please lead me to a site for the product, pricing and details?

We replaced the sand in our Hayward filter (150 lbs), filled up the pool, got everything hooked up the same way as last year and the pressure gauge arrow shot to the last number on the dial (60). From what I remember, the pressure last year was steady at 20. Any ideas?
When the filter is off, the arrow points to 45…could it be my gauge is faulty?

I hooked it up and it won’t ignite. It is a Hayward H1001D. I used a 30 lb tank with a high pressure regulator. The fan runs, the ignitor clicks, but it doesn’t light.

Help, I am trying to replace a 10 yr old pool pump with a new Hayward 1 1/2 HP unit. I need a recommendation on how to remove the union that connects the pump to the DE filter. My issues is that when I turn the union (assuming counter clockwise is correct), and also having another wrench securing the threadeded side connected to the filter, the threaded side connecting to the pump will tighten until it cannot go anymore. If the union piece is only supposed to turn then let me know. otherwise the hacksaw is comming out to seperate the pieces (LOL). Also thinking of using strong flex tubing & clamps to connect once I remove.
Additional Info: If I replace with another union, can I buy this from Home Depot? Is the standard 1 1/2 inch? Can I use PVC?

We have had to clamp each hose extention as they have blown off at different periods this summer… Now the crazy thing is spinning in circles not doing it’s job!

First time pool owner here, so not sure what to do!
Well, it was working fine when I bought the house, as it did come with it. A new one is $500… So, I’d really like to get this one working again!

It’s the Hayward dual-speed 1.5 HP Max-Flo SP2810X152.
It’s for 230V wiring. The box comes with no installation instructions.
When I opened up the motor end for electrical connections. I see 3 slots to connect wires, labeled 1, 2, 3or4, but with no labels for which wires to where. I guess (True?) the 3 slots are for the 2 hot wires (black and red) and the neutral (white) wire? Which color to what number? Please Help

I had a pool built just 2 years ago. My spa is not generating any bubbles or jets as it was the first year. It has a Hayward pump to filter both pool and spa. This was highly recommended by the builder. But now, my pool cleaner guy cleans the filter every week so the spa can get some pressure. He says that he wouldn’t have bought a Hayward pump. Also, said he would have another pump for the spa. I don’t know anything about pools and want to learn, so I don’t have to second guess everyone in the pool business. I don’t have money to burn like some friends of mine that just keeps paying a pool guy to fix everything for them.
I would like to do it myself and save my money.
any comments or suggestions are welcomed.
thank you in advance.
